Our Metal Yurt Roofs are built to withstand the weather for 70 years! Regular residential metal roofing is 29 gauge, high end residential roofing is 26 gauge. Our roofs are 24 gauge Galvanized steel. That is nearly twice as thick as the thin residential metal roofing.
Our steel is then galvanized at G-115 specification. That stands for a coating of molten zinc of 1.15oz/ sq.ft. Our metal has nearly twice the coating and protection as standard roofing.
The Metal Yurt Roof's one piece deep-rib corrugated roof panels offer outstanding load-carrying capabilities, providing durability under heavy snow, ice loads and other extreme weather conditions. Roofs bolt together rapidly in the field with each roof panel securely fastened to wall panels with steel clips. Heavy-duty 31 ⁄4" (82 mm) high box-ribs provide strength and rigidity for each roof panel. Roofs have either 24 or 36 corrugated roof panels (depending upon bin diameter) and a weather-tight closure.
Easy to Assemble AND Disassemble
Metal Yurt Roofs offer a simple bolt together construction. All holes are pre drilled and ready for assembly, resulting in a 1-3 day average assembly time, depending on your skill and size of the roof.
Another benefit of bolt together construction is the ability to unbolt and move your Metal Yurt Roof along with your yurt.
Lower Lifetime Costs and Maintenance

Metal Yurt Roofs allow you to have a wide roof overhang, keeping your walls dry and allowing you to keep your windows open in a light rain. Dry walls mean longer lasting side covers (saving money) and cleaner walls (saving your time from cleaning mold and mildew off the fabric).
Safe for the Chemically Sensitive
METAL YURT ROOFS ARE MADE FROM CHEMICALLY SAFE GALVANIZED STEEL. THERE ARE ONLY THREE ELEMENTS IN THE PRODUCT - IRON, CARBON, AND ZINC. NO CHEMICALS, NO ALGICIDES, MILDEWICIDES, PLASTICIZERS, CHLORINE COMPOUNDS, OR PROPRIETARY POISONS IN OUR ROOFS, UNLIKE IN EVERY OTHER FABRIC YURT ROOF. DON'T BE FOOLED BY TRADE NAMES LIKE DURO****, THEY ARE ALL VINYL COATED FABRICS AND CONTAIN CHEMICALS LIKE BPA THAT LEACH OUT INTO THE AIR AND WATER.
